As part of the Ubisoft Forward event, brand new Assassin’s Creed games were unveiled. Ubisoft has decided to expand its popular stealth-adventure game franchise into the mobile and VR world. In addition, a new trailer was shared for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which will return to the “roots of the series”.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Nexus VR and Codename Jade details

Three new games, Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR, Codename Jade and Mirage, were featured at the Ubisoft Forward 2023 event. The first of these games, Nexus VR, as you can understand from the name, appeals to Meta Quest 2 glasses.

Ubisoft has reported that the VR game will be released in the holiday season of 2023. Players; Ezio will be able to roam cities through the eyes of Cassandra and Connor. You will also be able to try hidden knives, swords and more in the virtual world.

Another game, Codename Jade, appeals to the mobile platform. Codename Jade, which takes players to the imperial city of Xianyang in China, will take on the role of Xia. With the character named Xia, you will fight against the Xionu raiders located beyond the Great Wall of China.

No specific release date has been announced for the mobile game, but players can pre-register for the closed beta.

The last production of Forward 2023 was the highly anticipated Mirage. The game, which is scheduled to be released on October 12, will be available for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Players will take on the role of Basim, who has tools like darts and explosives. He will also guide the pet bird Enkidu to scout and target with Basim.

Although three important productions were announced as part of the event, some projects were not detailed. The games that will be codenamed “Red” and “Hexe” seem to be put on hold for now.
