Twitter, which came to the fore with various problems and discussions after Elon Musk came to power, may leave its place to a new player. We mentioned earlier that Meta, the parent company of Facebook, Whatsapp and Instagram, is working on a new text-based social media platform. Today, the first images from this application came. Here is Twitter’s new competitor.

Meta’s Twitter rival platform spotted for the first time

At Meta’s in-house meeting held yesterday, the first images of the new social media platform codenamed Project 92 were shared. Looking at these images, we see that the interface design used on the platform is largely similar to Instagram. While Niketim’s user shares are listed one after the other, similar characters that appear in the comments section of Instagram are used.

In addition, in a recent statement, Meta’s Chief Product Officer Chris Cox announced that the new social media application will use the ActivityPub protocol, which allows users to move their Instagram accounts and followers to the new platform. He called it a “response to Twitter”.

The final name or release date of the new application is not yet known. However, it is stated that the development process started in January, and it is expected to be used by Meta as soon as possible.
