Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro camera features revealed: Get ready for high quality

Xiaomi is reportedly preparing to introduce the highly anticipated Xiaomi 14 series smartphones in China. Industry reports indicate that these devices, which are expected to be released in November, will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor that Qualcomm will introduce in October this year. The new information focuses on the camera parts of these phones.

Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro detailing

According to the famous hearse Digital Chat Station, the periscope telephoto camera of the Xiaomi 14 Pro will offer 5x optical zoom with an impressive focal length of 115mm. Meanwhile, its sibling Xiaomi 14 will come with a periscope telephoto camera with 3.9x optical zoom and a slightly shorter 90mm focal length.

Previous reports claimed that the Xiaomi 14 Pro, like the Xiaomi 13 Pro, will have three 50-megapixel cameras on the back: a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an ultra-wide lens and a periscope telephoto zoom camera. On the other hand, there is no information about the camera setup of the Xiaomi 14. According to reports, the Xiaomi 14 Pro’s front camera will support 4K video recording and promise high-quality selfies and video calls.

Rumors about the display options of the Xiaomi 14 Pro are also circulating, and it is suggested that there will be both flat and curved screen variants. The batteries powering the models will be quite large and both models are expected to have a capacity of 5,000mAh. Also, charging capabilities will differ between models. According to current information, the Xiaomi 14 will offer fast charging up to 90W, while the Pro model will offer up to 120W.
