Microsoft, which is working seriously on integrating productive artificial intelligence applications into its product range, seems to be reaping the rewards of these efforts. According to Evercore ISI analyst Kirk Materne, AI solutions could provide the company with up to $100 billion in additional revenue by 2027.

“While we all agree that AI is overrated today, we believe that AI’s impact will eventually spread across all industries and geographies. Microsoft is in a unique position to monetize the platform shift for AI over the next few years,” Materne said.

Microsoft will generate additional revenue from artificial intelligence in three ways

According to the analyst, the company can generate additional income from artificial intelligence in three ways. First, by integrating artificial intelligence-based Copilot software into products like Office, Dynamics and LinkedIn. Thanks to these integrations, the company can reach a wider user base and gain more customers.

Second, demand for the company’s Azure cloud solutions is expected to increase. In addition, the increase in the market share of the Bing search engine will fill the company’s coffers. Kirk Materne’s baseline scenario foresees a revenue increase of $50 billion in the 2027 calendar year, while its optimistic scenario foresees a revenue increase of $100 billion.
