After delays, the launch will take place on Monday
The launch was originally scheduled for Saturday, June 3, but SpaceX announced a 24-hour delay in the morning, citing the need to “give more time for vehicle preparations and weather conditions to improve,” according to the Twitter update. On Sunday (June 4), SpaceX announced another day’s delay, citing strong winds at the rocket launch site.
You can watch the launch here, or directly on SpaceX’s page. SpaceX’s webcast will begin approximately 20 minutes before takeoff. But there’s no guarantee that Dragon will get off the ground in time. Because on Monday, the rate of weather conditions allowing take-off is 40%. If the launch doesn’t happen on Monday, it will happen on Wednesday, June 7th. If nothing goes wrong, the event will start at 18:45 on Monday, June 5th.
