Amnesia: The Bunker, the new game of the Amnesia series, which entered the lives of most of us in the early 2010s by watching the gameplay of YouTubers, will be released on Steam on June 6, 2 days later. With such a short time before the game’s release, the developers announced super news for the original first game.
Frictional Games, the developer of the Amnesia series, announced that they will bring Steam workshop support for the first game Amnesia: The Dark Descent. So what does this mean?
Now it will be much easier to mod Amnesia and find and install mods
As you know, the Steam workshop is a platform where players share various mods for games with the community. Although Amnesia: The Dark Descent was modded before, it will now be much easier and more accessible thanks to the Steam workshop. Most importantly, it will be reliable.
Giving Steam workshop support to a game can be a lifeline if a game has lost its popularity. Therefore, the workshop support of Amnesia: The Dark Descent can attract players who want to experience nostalgia. Or, it can encourage players who have never played the game before, and who will not want to play it from now on because of its old age, with mods.
It is not known whether it will resurrect the game, but it is obvious that the fans of the game will have fun hours again.

The Bunker, the latest game in the Amnesia series, whose release date was first announced on May 23, 2023 but was later postponed to June 6, will play a French soldier trying to survive in a bunker in the 1st world war, as can be seen from the 10-minute gameplay video trailer above.
