The Twitter account of Peter Schiff, known for his anti-cryptocurrency and critical approach to Bitcoin, has been hacked. Hackers introduced a fake cryptocurrency from Schiff’s account.
Schiff created a gold-themed NFT collection and shared it with his followers. Hackers, who wanted to turn this situation into an opportunity, tried to make a phishing attack by sharing a token called Gold.
Anti-Crypto Schiff’s Twitter Account Hacked!
Anti-Bitcoin Peter Schiff attracted the attention of thousands of crypto investors with his NFT collection on the Bitcoin network. This has increased Schiff’s awareness in the crypto industry.
Hackers, who took over the Twitter account of the gold maximalist Schiff, tried to take advantage of the fame of the popular name. Hackers shared a link for a crypto money project they created called Gold.

Hackers holding Schiff’s account announced a Web3 project that bridges physical and digital currencies. They stated that a launch was also held for Gold, the local token of this fake project. This sharing, which was shown to belong entirely to Schiff, attracted attention in a short time.
Spencer Schiff, the son of Peter Schiff, announced that his father’s Twitter account was hacked and that the post did not belong to Peter. Spencer underlined that this tweet from his father’s account should not be clicked.
