With this feature, moderators will be able to help people who open the live stream throughout this process by disabling comments, requests to join the live stream, questions and much more.
Accordingly, while it was not clear how many people could manage the live broadcast before; Now Instagram is working to have a moderator help you, not just one person. An engineer, Alessandro Paluzzi, also made some statements about the development stage of another new feature, in addition to this new feature that Instagram aims to add to its body.
Live streaming isn’t the only feature that’s expected to get an update
As of now, it’s not possible to add moderators to live streams, and Instagram has been working on making it as appealing as possible, as it’s a very important feature for content creators.
Another innovation is expected to be the feature to like Stories. Instagram, which started testing this feature last August, has added an introductory screen about this function in the last few months; however, he also stated that this is a test and not something that is certain to happen. Paluzzi, on the other hand, shared an image of how the like button will appear in the viewers list, saying that the likes will be in the same section as those who view Stories.
Unfortunately, it is not yet clear whether or not these features will be added to Instagram, and if so, when it will happen; however, the company is expected to make these features a part of Instagram as soon as possible.
