Meta introduced the long-awaited newest virtual reality glasses Quest 3 today. The company’s new glasses and controllers came with brand new features that would give users the most realistic experience.
The company’s current virtual reality moves were not limited to these. The technology giant also showed many VR games that will come to the Quest platform, along with a separate event it holds every year. You can find the highlights of this event, which also includes some highly anticipated games, below.
VR games shown at Meta’s event
Assassin’s Creed Nexus is coming this year
Perhaps the most striking game at the event was Assassin’s Creed Nexus, the VR game of Ubisoft’s popular series Assassin’s Creed, which was first introduced last year. No trailer from the game was shared at the event; however, some important information has been disclosed.
Accordingly, Assassin’s Creed Nexus will be released for Meta Quest 3 and Quest 2 later this year. Fans will have to wait for the Ubisoft Forward event on June 12 for more details.
Stranger Things VR
Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things was known to be a VR game. Months ago, the first images from the game came. A more detailed trailer was shown at Meta’s event today. The game, where you can experience the Upside Down by replacing the Vecna we know from the last season, will come in the fall of 2023.
Asgard’s Wrath 2
One of the biggest games Meta showed today was Asgard’s Wrath 2. Gameplay footage from the production, which is the sequel to the critically acclaimed RPG Asgard’s Wrath, released in 2019, was shared at the event. The images gave us a glimpse of everything from combat mechanics to puzzles, and showed that the game will come with many improvements.
The game, which will have more than 60 hours of story time, will be released in the winter months of 2023.
Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable
The trailer for the popular manga and anime Attack on Titan’s Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable game, which was announced last year, was also shared. The production, which will have both single and paired modes, will debut in the winter months.
Samba de Amigo
Sega brings the beloved game Samba de Amigo to their Quest titles. The production, which is said to include 40 hit songs, will be released in the autumn months.
Ghostbusters: Rise of the Beasts
Meta shared the story trailer of the VR Ghostbusters game, which it showed for the first time last year. Inspired by the legendary series, the production will take place in San Francisco and will allow you to hunt ghosts with your friends. The game will be released in the fall.
PowerWash Simulator
The popular washing simulation PowerWash Simulator is also one of the games coming to Quest. The game, which has managed to become very popular with its calming and satisfying structure, will be released for VR in 2023.
NFL Pro Era
A new one of the American Football-themed NFL Pro Era is also coming this year.
