Tencent and Chainlink (LINK) partnership
China-based IT company Tencent has established a new partnership with Chainlink (LINK) for the Web3 ecosystem. The duo will support Web3 with its secure infrastructure service. In this way, it is planned to create “more secure, reliable and feature-rich applications” on this technology.
According to the official announcement, as part of the partnership, Tencent Cloud will provide various benefits to ChainlinkBUILD projects, including:
- $10,000 default coupons and $100,000 additional coupons for Tencent Cloud services
- Priority list of products and services on Tencent Cloud International Marketplace
- Early invitations to attend Tencent Cloud Web3 networking opportunities, webinars and events
Aptos Network and QuickNode collaboration
In another partnership news, Aptos Network published on the QuickNode platform. The team announced that “Aptos Network has been added as the “21st powered Blockchain protocol of QuickNode.”
By adding Aptos to their ecosystem, QuickNode will “help developers on the Aptos network bring Web 3.0 closer to mass adoption to other leading networks with higher transaction speeds and lower fees.”
Magic raises $52 million in funding
Web2 wallet provider Magic has secured $52 million in its recent funding round. The funding round was led by PayPal Ventures. Investors included Cherubic, Synchrony, KX, Northzone and Volt Capital.
With this funding, Magic will specifically expand its enterprise-ready product suite. It will also support efforts to facilitate Web3 technology adoption. However, the project plans to strengthen its integration in the European Union (EU) and Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions to facilitate wider Web3 adoption in different geographic markets.
Alan Du, partner of PayPal Ventures, highlights the importance of Magic’s user-friendly solution in driving Web3 adoption. Magic provides a wallet service that allows companies to reach millions of users and Web3 newcomers. In this way, it aims to support various use cases for global brands.
Centbee and nChain collaboration
South Africa-based functional cryptocurrency wallet solution Centbee has partnered with blockchain technology company nChain to improve its blockchain payment offerings.
Through the partnership, Centbee’s technical team will work with the nChain software development team specializing in BSV Blockchain and other services. In essence, the collaboration aims to enhance Centbee’s technical skills by leveraging nChain’s understanding of BSV Blockchain technology.
