iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus with 48-megapixel cameras
In a research note obtained according to the leaks, Jeff Pu says that the 48-megapixel lens on these models will use a new “three-stacked” sensor that can capture more light for improved image quality. But according to Pu, based on recent supply chain checks, the integrated sensor could possibly delay the production of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.
As you may recall, Apple first introduced the 48-megapixel camera lens on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max last year. This lens allows users to shoot 48-megapixel ProRAW photos that retain more detail in the image file for greater editing flexibility.
Expected highlights of the iPhone 15 Pro
Pu was the first to report that the iPhone 15 Pro models will no longer have physical buttons due to “design issues”. The iPhone 15 Pro models are expected to feature prominent features such as titanium bezel, upgraded A17 Bionic chip, and increased 8GB RAM. Let us remind you that the 4 iPhone 15 models to be introduced will also have a USB-C port.
