Apple is the leader of the tablet market in China
For the first quarter of 2023, iPad sales in China more than doubled year over year. Apple sold 2.48 million iPads this quarter. According to the report, Apple’s market share increased by 13% year-on-year to 38.4%.
Apple’s closest competitor is Huawei. With a 17.6% market share, Huawei sold 1.14 million tablets. Honor followed with sales of 700,000 units.
The tablet market is important to Apple. The company offers tablets for different uses, from the $10.9-inch iPad for $450 to the $12.9-inch iPad Pro for $1100.
