Continuing to expand its product range in the smartphone market, Xiaomi has started preparations on the successor of Xiaomi Civi 2, which was launched last September. Today, the Chinese giant has clarified some of the features of the highly anticipated phone. Here’s what we know about the Xiaomi Civi 3.

Xiaomi Civi 3 features started to become clear

In the official announcement made today, Xiaomi has confirmed that the highly anticipated Xiaomi Civi 3 will receive support from the MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra chipset. This processor is expected to be an overclocked version of the Dimensity 8200, which was released in December. At this point, we can say that the first phone to receive support from the new processor will be the Xiaomi Civi 3.

In addition, Xiaomi says that important innovations will be offered in the image signal processing (ISP) chip of the device. These include reduced power consumption in the camera app, accelerated shutter speed, and up to 30 new video capabilities, which will be detailed later.

According to current rumors, the Xiaomi Civi 3 will have a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD + resolution on the front. In the camera section, it is stated that the new device will retain the 32MP front camera sensor in the Civi 2. On the back, there will be an updated 50MP Sony IMX800 and auxiliary sensors. Other features of the device include a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support and Android 13 operating system.

According to a report by Xiaomiui, Xiaomi Civi 3 will be available to users on May 30. However, it should be noted that this information is not official and may vary according to markets.
