Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 release date clarified
Samsung normally hosts Galaxy Unpacked for its foldable phones in August. This is pretty good timing because Samsung can meet the demands by launching its high-end foldable phones before new iPhones are released. However, considering that Google has also introduced the Pixel Fold, there is a date change pressure on Samsung.
The fact that Samsung pulls back the introduction date may result in a more advantageous point in the competition. High-end phones coming out in the middle of the year, many people who haven’t upgraded to the Galaxy S series may finally be tempted to new foldable phones. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 look almost identical to their predecessors, but a number of design changes are said to be made under the hood of both phones that will make the overall build quality much better.
Other features will include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chip for both phones, an improved hinge mechanism and possibly a more advanced camera system. In the case of the Galaxy Z Flip 5, there will be a larger cover screen. More detailed information about both models will emerge in the future.
