Corsair, one of the leading providers for gamers, publishers, content producers and gaming PC manufacturers, shared the results for the first quarter of the current year. Corsair seems to have taken a strong stance in the market where there is a decline in both game revenues and hardware sales.

Corsair enters 2023 strong

Corsair Chief Executive Officer Andy Paul said: “We have a strong start to 2023 with a 33% improvement in adjusted EBITDA compared to the previous period.” In the statement made by the company, it is stated that Corsair continues to gain market share and maintains its leading position. However, the company underlines that sales are slightly behind 2022, but significantly ahead of pre-pandemic levels.

Corsair states that with the introduction of new generation mainstream computer hardware, sales and revenues will improve further in the course of the year. Additionally, the firm’s net revenues were $354.0 million this quarter, compared to $380.7 million in the first quarter of 2022. Net revenue from the gaming components and systems segment increased to $265 million, compared to $246.5 million in the first quarter of 2022. On the other hand, the firm announced a net loss of $1.1 million this quarter, but the net loss in the first quarter of 2022 was $5.1 million.
