GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB specs are starting to get clear

After the GeForce RTX 4070, which was released in the past weeks, all eyes were turned to the RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4060 models. In this context, we continue to hear new leaks about the RTX 4060 Ti. So much so that we learned that the new graphics card will have two versions, 8GB and 16GB. Now, new information has emerged about the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB.

RTX 4060 Ti 16GB specs are starting to get clear

If we recall, the RTX 4060 Ti is expected to have 4352 CUDA cores, 2535 Mhz clock speed, GDDR6 memory and 128-bit memory bus. New leaks say that the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB will be powered by a new GPU variant. At this point, the basic version will come with the AD106-350, and the 16GB version with the AD106-351 GPU.

This improvement indicates that both GPUs will likely have the same CUDA core count. However, we may encounter minor changes between the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB and 8GB versions.

As a matter of fact, the increase in memory capacity brings with it a small change in power consumption. So the base RTX 4060 Ti 8GB will have 160W, while the 16GB model will have a TDP of 165W. It is not yet clear whether the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB model will offer 18 Gbps memory speed.

As you may remember, the RTX 408012 GB was canceled before it went on sale due to the big difference between the 16 GB model. That’s why we think the RTX 4060 Ti specs will be similar between both models. According to the latest leaks, the RTX 4060 Ti 8GB will be released on May 24. The 16GB version is expected to debut in the second half of July.
