Call of Duty: Vanguard, which was offered to both console and PC players as of November 2021, is on the agenda with very interesting news these days. Some users who bought the game on the platform it owns complain about not being able to enter the single-player story (Campaign) mode of the production. Vanguard has a 5-7 hour Campaign mode
Although the Call of Duty series is preferred because of its online modes, the single-player mode of the game is also eagerly awaited by some players. Although the Campaign mode is skipped in some games of the series, Call of Duty: Vanguard also has a single-player game mode that takes about 5-7 hours and consists of 9 different chapters.
The production, which was presented to PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC players on November 5, 2021, has already received very successful review notes. Some users who download the game, which has an 81/100 grade point average on Metacritic, encounter an error they never expected. Accordingly, players who want to enter the Campaign mode of the game state that the tab in the menu is grayed out and that they encounter a lock sign next to it.
The source of this problem is due to the way Activision Blizzard presents the game. By default, the game only loads multiplayer and Zombies mods. Although you think you have completely installed Vanguard, you have to install the single player mode manually. If you see a gray tab and lock icon as in the image above, you will need to download the Campaign mod separately by pressing the relevant button.
Some players state that the icon is not clickable even if they manually install the mode from the main menu. In this case, the first thing you need to do is to close the game and open it again after the installation is over. If this is not the solution, as a last resort, you have to delete the entire game and download it again.
