Clubhouse, one of the most popular applications of the pandemic period, managed to excite its users thanks to its new feature. The platform, which has been allowing only live broadcasts and instant participants for a long time, has finally activated the replay button.
Thanks to this new feature, you will be able to record the live broadcast you have opened on a topic or just for chat purposes and the conversations of the participants, and then add them to your page just like a podcast. Then, anyone who wishes will be able to listen to the replay of that day’s broadcast by pressing the play button.
Targets Clubhouse’s podcast listener!
If you’re a podcaster or a regular room host at Clubhouse, you’ll probably like this feature. You can download the source audio file of the ended sessions. So you can use these posts in your podcast posts, YouTube clips, Instagram story or TikTok video.
In addition to this feature, creators will be able to see the total number of participants in their room in detail. Previously, the number of instant participants could be seen in a similar way. However, thanks to this new feature, you will be able to see how many people are listening to you and your conversations, apart from live broadcasts. An example of this is the number of views on YouTube.
There were also some improvements in the information board. Now you can pin what you want the audience to read in the room, just like in the thread on Twitter. In addition, some features such as switching to the speaker, trimming the sound and listening at 1.5x or 2x speed have been added to the system.
Clubhouse has been competing with rival platforms for a long time. For a while, the opinions that he had fallen behind had been increasing. However, after the improvements made, it seems that not only will more opportunities be offered to existing users, but also podcast-oriented listeners.
Of course, due to the increasing participation rates by users in these live chat rooms, many major platforms have started to shift their developments in this direction. For this reason, we may see similar developments in many places from Facebook to Amazon, from Apple Music to Spotify in the future.
