In our election special content series that we started at the beginning of the week, we met with the representatives of the alliances and parties that aspire to the administration of the country; we asked them questions on issues that concern us all, such as access to technology, election security and brain drain.
There are days left until the election. We are here with our last guest in this content where we went according to the order on the ballot paper. Mehmet Alagöz, the deputy chairman of the Victory Party, will answer our questions.
Let us remind you for the last time, in the 4 contents we have prepared:
- On behalf of the presidential candidates, the representatives of the alliances and parties were our guests.
- All broadcasts were made according to the candidate ranking on the ballot.
- No specific questions were asked to the candidates, the same questions were answered for each candidate.
- Instead of political messages in the answers given, concrete, measurable promises were made content.
Let’s start with our first question, the word is Alagöz:
1- Will taxes on technological products be removed? Why if it won’t be removed permanently?
”For technological products, if there is no domestic product, we will reduce the tax burden. All public resources will be transferred in cash and in kind to facilitate access to these technologies on the one hand, and to learn and develop these technologies on the other. In addition, we will open 30 R&D offices in ‘Istanbul 3.0’ and 30 other metropolitan cities.”
2- What kind of technological infrastructure do you work with within the scope of election security? What security measures have you taken, how reliable are these security measures?
”We match WhatsApp groups with information from the field. As the Victory Party, we could not assign officials to the ballot boxes as we were going to enter the elections for the first time. However, we appointed an observer for each ballot box and a lawyer friend for each school. Security will be maximized by placing data matrix and electronic scanning on ballot papers under the victory of the Victory Party. Every vote of the electorate will be secured in the name of democracy. ”
3- What do you think about the brain drain? What plans do you have to prevent or reverse this?
‘Creative minds will always be honored’
“Brain drain is a factor that causes our country to stagnate or even regress. ‘Freedom of thought’ is our first priority, provided that we adhere to our constitution in order to prevent brain drain. In addition, we will provide creative and innovative minds with a comfortable working environment and an environment where they can work with the necessary financial support. Creative minds will always be honored.”
4- Finally, why should someone who loves technology, follows closely and wants to reach the latest technology vote for you?
“People who love technology, people who are smart and witty. For example, our chairman Ümit Özdağ is also a humorous leader. Humor is intelligence. People who deal with technology are smart guys. That’s why they prefer smart people.
