Google shared the innovations that come with Android 14 to introduce its new hardware in I/O 2023, where artificial intelligence is highlighted. The prominent features of Android 14, the first preview version of which was released in February and the public beta version was released in April, were explained at the event. More customization for the lock screen

Android 14 comes with a few customization options for the lock screen. The user will now be able to add their own personalized clock to the lock screen by choosing the font, color, size, design. There are also new lock screen shortcuts to turn on the flashlight directly from the lock screen, open the wallet for payment or launch the camera by scanning a QR code.

Emoji and cinematic wallpapers

Android 14 comes with several new wallpaper options, including emoji and cinematic wallpapers. The emoji wallpaper feature allows you to choose 14 different emojis, browse through various patterns and choose a color pattern to create unique wallpaper for your home screen and lock screen. Emoji wallpapers are interactive; that is, they move every time you touch the emojis.

The cinematic wallpaper feature turns any photo in the gallery into a 3D image with motion effects that you can add as a background. Both of these wallpaper features will first arrive on Pixel phones in June.

With Android 14, Google is introducing a new feature that allows you to create unique wallpaper with productive artificial intelligence. You start by choosing a theme, then the wallpaper is created. Below each wallpaper is an edit option for you to further customize the existing wallpaper. You can pass the wallpapers by swiping quickly. Thanks to Material You, the system’s color palette automatically adapts to match the generated wallpaper.

Find My Device update

Android 14 is also updating the Find My Device feature. Users will now be able to locate other devices such as headphones and tablets. In addition, the items that your smart tracking device is attached to, such as SmartTag, can also be tracked via Find.

Phones that will receive Android 14 beta

Google released the Android 14 beta 2 version after the I/O event and shared the manufacturers participating in the Android 14 beta program. iQOO, Lenovo, Nothing, OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Tecno, Vivo phones will be able to receive Android 14 beta updates. Here are the devices that will receive Android 14 beta:
