The U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has filed a multi-billion dollar lawsuit against bankrupt crypto exchange FTX and its affiliates. Also, the IRS filed a $20.4 billion claim from Alameda. This demand equates to $20 billion in taxes that FTX’s sister company did not pay.

According to the bankruptcy filings dated April 27 and 28, the IRS filed a total of 45 claims against FTX and its subsidiaries. These requests of the IRS will be evaluated in the first place by taking executive priority in the creditor case.

Recently, FTX has been putting a lot of effort into repaying its customers and restructuring the platform.
