Among Vivo’s sub-brands, iQOO continues its preparations for the highly anticipated Neo 8 series and its first tablet, the iQOO Pad. In this context, current leaks point to a launch event on May 23, while both models are confirmed to be on the way. Reportedly, the iQOO Neo 8 series will consist of two premium smartphones, the Neo 8 and Neo 8 Pro. Starting with the Neo 8 Pro, the device will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display on the front that offers 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone, which is stated to offer 5000mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ and 120W fast charging, will be accompanied by a 50MP 1/1.5 inch primary camera with OIS support and two auxiliary sensors on the back.
The base model Neo 8 is expected to have similar features such as a 6.78-inch display with 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution, a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. However, it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 compared to its older brother. Other details of the phone are not yet clear.
The first tablet model of iQOO, the iQOO Pad, is said to be a rebranded Vivo Pad 2. Accordingly, the new device will showcase a 12.1-inch LCD display with 144Hz refresh rate and 2K+ resolution, Dimensity 9000 chipset, 10,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support, 13MP+8MP rear camera and 8MP front camera.
