US-based technology giant Microsoft’s newest operating system, Windows 11, seems to annoy users in the near future. According to new information, Microsoft will start hitting the bottom of the advertisement in Windows 11. So much so that the Settings section of the operating system will start showing ads very soon.
According to the information detected in the latest Insider version of Windows 11, when users enter the Settings section of Windows 11, they will start to see advertisements, especially about Microsoft 365. Ads to be shown will tell users about Microsoft 365 benefits and guide them to purchase. The ad section that will be shown to the user with the title “Try Microsoft 365” will take up a significant part of the screen.
Here’s what Microsoft’s ads in Windows 11 will look like:
Just below the ad that will be displayed in the Settings section, information about One Drive will be provided. Users will be able to see the storage space on One Drive in this area. However, advertisements will not be limited to these. For example; A user entering the “Accounts” section will also see advertisements for Office products.
The only positive handicap with the ads of Windows 11 is that the ads are only about Microsoft services. At a time when ads are starting to pop up everywhere, it’s even significant that Microsoft is limiting ads in this way.
It is not yet clear when Microsoft will start showing ads on Windows 11. However, the versions that reach the user within the scope of the Insider program come to stable versions after a short testing period. Windows 11 users will start seeing ads under the Settings section in a maximum of a few months.
