AMD, which recently introduced the top model graphics cards of RDNA 3 architecture, RX 7900 XT and RX 7900 XTX models, continues its preparations for the 7800 XT, 7700 XT and 7600 XT, the mid and mid-high level models of the architecture. Now, among these models, the Radeon RX 7800 XT has surprisingly been listed on the popular benchmarking platform Geekbench.

Radeon RX 7800 XT appeared on Geekbench

According to reports, the 7800 XT, tested on a Linux-based Ryzen 9 7950X and 58 GB RAM system, scores 113,819 points in the Vulkan test. With a small comparison, it should be noted that the score in question is close to the RTX 3070 or RX 6700 XT models. However, this GPU is very likely an early example of engineering. As a matter of fact, it is reported that the new card will compete with the RTX 4070 Ti.

Geekbench images do not contain any information about the GPU’s specs. However, current rumors suggest that the 7800 XT will use the full Navi 32 die, offering 60 compute units and 7,680 shader units. It will also include 64MB of Infinity cache, 250 to 285 watts of TBP, and 16GB of 21Gbps GDDR6 VRAM.

AMD CEO Lisa Su recently confirmed that “mainstream” Radeon RX 7000 graphics cards will hit the market this quarter. However, he did not specify which cards. The AMD Radeon 7800 XT, 7700 XT, and 7600 XT are expected to debut at Computex in late May or early June.
