Advanced sleep management
OneUI 5 Watch comes with new features to help Galaxy Watch users get a better sleep.- Track personal sleep patterns from the new Sleep Information interface that displays the user’s sleep score and a clearer view of the previous night’s sleep, along with metrics associated with snoring hours, blood oxygen levels, and sleep stages
- Creating healthy habits with Sleep Coaching
- Creating a sleep-friendly environment with better connectivity between Galaxy Watchs and SmartThings compatible devices
Personal fitness features
OneUI 5 Watch brings the new personalized Heart Rate Zone, which offers real-time running analysis and special running tools such as customized interval training program. The heart rate zone can identify five optimal levels of exercise (warm-up, fat burning, cardio, heavy training, highly intense) to analyze individual physical abilities and allow one to set goals according to their capacity. In addition, running and walking activities were added to the Route training.User security increased
On the security side, there are two new features coming with the One UI 5 Watch update. First; Updated SOS system that makes direct calls to the emergency phone number and relays information about the user’s location, medical information. The other is that the fall detection feature is turned on by default for people 55 and older.When will One UI Watch 5 be released?
Samsung will roll out the One UI 5 Watch update to users who join the beta program in May 2023. Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 4 series users will be able to participate in the beta program through the Members app. One UI 5 Watch final version will be released in the second half of 2023.
