After investing in OpenAI, Microsoft integrated ChatGPT features and GPT-4 artificial intelligence into the Bing search engine. Last month, Microsoft introduced Bing AI chat integration to iOS and Android versions of the SwiftKey keyboard. Now, thanks to SwiftKey, Bing AI is integrated into the One UI interface on Samsung Galaxy devices.

Bing AI-powered SwiftKey arrives on Galaxy

Samsung Galaxy owners will have access to three main Bing AI features via the SwiftKey keyboard, which will come pre-loaded on One UI. These are Call, Tone, and Chat, respectively. Thanks to these features, users will be able to search the web directly on any screen or application without leaving the keyboard or entering another browser. In addition, the tone of the message you have written can be adjusted. For example, you will be able to change the tone of a normal message you send to an employee you want to complete a task to a more professional or appropriate tone.

In addition to these two basic features, Chat, which is the biggest feature, allows you to chat directly with Bing AI. While stating that audio inputs are also accepted, you can get information about a topic from Bing or have it produce an image for you. Microsoft shared the SwiftKey update on Twitter a while ago and stated that the new version 9.10.11.10 will be available to Samsung users “in the coming days”.

Of course, using SwiftKey is not a necessity. The keyboard app you are currently using or the default Samsung Keyboard will continue to be used. You can change the keyboard in Settings > General Management > Keyboard list and default. On the other hand, in mid-April, there was news that Samsung could replace its default search engine with Bing. The integration of SwiftKey on Galaxy devices may be a sign of this as well.
