The BiSU platform, which experienced rapid growth especially during the pandemic period and became the strongest player in the water distribution sector, could not stand the global economic crisis any longer and declared a concordat.

Did BiSU go bankrupt?

Founded in 2015, the BiSU initiative had developed a system that allows ordering carboy water in a virtual environment. The fast-growing startup during the pandemic period also established a market delivery system called Bi’Market in 4 provinces, especially in Istanbul.

However, since the beginning of the year, unpaid dealership fees and progress payments started to create a question mark in the minds. According to the information received, the company, which could not provide the necessary funds, declared a concordat in order to pay its debts.

When a control board is appointed to the company, the balance sheets must be corrected within 3 months. The company stopped its Bi’Market operations in Istanbul. The water order marketplace operations in 60 cities will continue. The company stated that it is working to fulfill its obligations quickly.
