There has been a lot of talk on the technology agenda lately about the return of Samsung’s Exynos processor to the Galax S flagship series. Samsung is said to have developed the Exynos 2400 with the thought of launching it alongside the Galaxy S24 series, but even if that turns out to be true, a new rumor that has surfaced says the company may “split” the chipset into the Galaxy S24 series in a very unusual way.
This rumor suggests the possibility that Samsung will only use the Exynos 2400 processor for the base Galaxy S24 model. But even if that happens, the standard Galaxy S24 model will be split between Exynos 2400 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor options in some markets. On the other hand, in other markets, consumers will be able to buy the Galaxy S24 only with the Exynos 2400 processor.
By the way, according to the mentioned, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra will only use Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. These phones will only be supported by Qualcomm, which will reinforce the cooperation between Samsung and the US chipmaker. So, what do you think about this issue? Would you like to see Exynos or Snapdragon as the processor in the Galaxy S24 series? We welcome your comments below.
