The Chinese company will try to challenge OpenAI’s world-shattering artificial intelligence with its own chatbot called NetGPT. The firm has recently filed an application for the registration of the “Huawei NetGPT” trademark with the Chinese Patent Office.
Competition heats up in artificial intelligence
It is stated that the trademark, which falls under Class 9, which includes scientific instruments, is currently in the approval process. Unfortunately there are no details about NetGPT yet. However, it is considered to be a chatbot similar to ChatGPT.
The company has previously stated that it will not integrate ChatGPT into its products and will instead focus on developing more advanced artificial intelligence technologies. Huawei’s step into this area will pave the way for more talented artificial intelligence chatbots for consumers.
