A user named Zondax shared a screenshot on Reddit that shows his battery is 103% charged in Windows 11. He then updated the post with the note “I don’t want to unplug it, I wonder how far it will go” and shared a screenshot showing the battery status increasing to 104%. The user, who said that he removed the charging cable when it did not increase further, stated that the charge began to fall back from 100 when he removed the power cable.
So is this a Windows 11 feature that targets unlimited power performance? Of course no. This is a minor software bug.
