The Galaxy S23 series was introduced a little over two months ago. And by nature, eyes have turned to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Tab S9 series, Galaxy Watch 6 and possibly new earphones.
A recent rumor says that the Korean giant may introduce at least some of the devices listed above, sooner than expected. This promotion will take place at an Unpacked event in the last week of July.
Samsung usually holds its second biggest Unpacked event every year in August. While there isn’t much time in between, the July rumor is worth considering. At a time when the foldable smartphone market is heating up and Google is preparing to launch its first foldable product, the Pixel Fold, it may be that Samsung does not want to give its rivals much breathing space. So we can expect to see the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 at the July Unpacked event.
Of course this is all speculation, and to be honest, the next Unpacked being at the end of July isn’t such a big time shift; we’re talking about a difference of only two weeks.
