Following the expansion and increased adoption of the blockchain industry, large companies continue to join the industry. Google, which has come to the fore with its steps in the Web3 field, is expanding its Web3 program.

Google Adds 11 New Blockchain Firms to Web3 Program

Google will expand the Web3 startup program to make 11 Blockchain companies part of the program. Alphabet’s tech company has grown the Google for Startups Cloud Program. As of April 25, Alchemy has included Web3 companies such as Aptos, Base, Celo, Flow, Hedera, Nansen, Near, Polygon, Solana and Thirdweb into the program.

Blockchain analytics firm Nansen announced that it has partnered with Google Cloud to provide real-time blockchain data the same day.

Google Cloud offers two services for Web3 startups, separated by whether or not companies are funding. Before the seed investment, companies will be able to obtain credits valid for two years with access to events such as Paris Blockchain Week, Consensus and TOKEN2049 Singapore, in which Google will participate. These investments will be given to companies as Google Cloud credits of up to $2,000. For startups that receive investments, there are up to $200,000 credits for Google Cloud and Firebase, $12,000 of Google Cloud Enhanced Support credits, and a free 12-month Google Workspace Business Plus opportunity.
