Former Representative Tim Ryan and Growth Club President David McIntosh, who is also a former congressman, will chair a program aimed at educating policymakers and the public on the benefits of Bitcoin.
The Bitcoin Policy Institute will announce their new project, BPI Action, at a conference in Washington DC on Wednesday.
The two former representatives will chair BPI Action, an effort affiliated with the Bitcoin Policy Institute that aims to educate policymakers and the public about the economic and social benefits of Bitcoin and other digital innovations.
BPI Action will join other crypto groups already in Washington, including the 107-member newly signed Blockchain Association and the DeFi Education Fund. The Bitcoin Policy Institute aims to support academic research on Bitcoin and other “emerging monetary networks.”
