KuCoin’s official Twitter account hacked

As the cryptocurrency industry continues to evolve, news of hacking in this area is increasing rapidly. Finally, the Twitter account of crypto exchange Kucoin was hacked for 45 minutes today.

Hackers who shared a link from Kucoin’s official Twitter account defrauded many KuCoin users. Acknowledging the events, the exchange stated that it will cover the losses of users.

KuCoin used the following statements on the subject:

“KuCoin has been hacked for approximately 45 minutes from April 4th 00:00. A fake activity was posted and unfortunately resulted in asset loss for many users. KuCoin will fully compensate all verified asset losses caused by social media breach and fraudulent activity. ”
