Vivo Y78+ 5G features a 6.78-inch curved OLED display that offers FHD+ resolution (2400 × 1080 pixels). In addition, this screen is accompanied by a 120Hz refresh rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, 105 percent NTSC color gamut, 8000000:1 contrast ratio and 1,000 nits brightness. Powered by the Snapdragon 695 platform, the Y78+ is supported by up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
Under the hood, Vivo has included a 4,500 mAh battery with 40W fast charging support in its new model. It comes out of the box with Android 13-based OriginOS OS 3.Other features of the Y78+ 5G include dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and USB-C port. Coming in three different colors, Moon Shadow Black, Warm Sun Gold and Sky Blue, Vivo Y78+ 5G will go on sale in China from April 26. It has not yet been announced whether the smartphone will step into the global market.
