Billy Markus, one of the founders of Dogecoin, made comments about NFT investors. Now, Markus is in the spotlight with his reply to a Tweet.

Billy Markus, co-founder of Dogecoin, is known for his criticism of cryptocurrency investments. Finally, he likened this activity to “investing in mental illness.”

Markus continues to criticize investing in crypto and NFTs. He states that because NFTs are a crypto derivative, investing in it makes people “even more mentally ill.” Markus, known as “Shibetoshi Nakamoto” on Twitter, continues to criticize those who invest in cryptocurrencies.

Last year, he announced that he stopped investing in crypto immediately after the launch of Dogecoin, as he thought investing in digital currencies was just another form of gambling. He also states that he does not believe in Bitcoin as a currency either. Currently, he explains that he has some remaining cryptocurrencies from “commissions or selling things” and owns “very few Dogecoins”.
Markus also tells his followers and the entire crypto community that he is no longer part of the Dogecoin Foundation’s Doge team and is not speaking for them in his Tweets.
