Dota 2 New Frontiers update and giant changes
In his statement, Valve underlines that the main purpose of the game remains the same, and states that everything you need to win is still in the center of the map. But what Valve refers to as “meta-defining new features” include new locations, new Tormentor mini-bosses, vision neutral units called Watchers, fruit-producing Lotus Pools, new items, matchmaking changes, UI changes to health bars, and a host of other things that will touch every character in the game. It also brings hero balancing with the update. Also, some of the changes are backdoors for sieges, two Roshan lairs, various new rune types spread across the map, more creep camps and Outposts.
Obviously, like CS: GO, which will receive serious changes with Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2 is getting even bigger changes with the New Frontiers update. The list of innovations and changes that came with version 7.33 is quite long and detailed. You can read the related patch notes here.
