Rebase’s co-founder, Krzysztof Gagacki, filed eight separate complaints against Edmond Truong, the company’s other co-founder, along with a filing in the United States District Court in California on April 17. Gagacki stated that she sought prosecution for Truong for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, defamation and trademark infringement. This discussion, in which opposing fronts were formed, had a great impact, especially in the NFT ecosystem.

The Founding Partners of the Company Waged War With Each Other
It is unclear exactly when the professional relationship between the company’s co-founders deteriorated. But Gagacki claimed that Truong violated a partnership agreement by unwittingly transferring $2 million to a separate wallet he owned and controlled on October 27, 2022.
Gagacki, on the other hand, claims to own 50 percent of the funds and stated that Truong refused to give her the password to the digital wallet. The mutual squabbles and claims between the two have become a matter of great curiosity. The fact that Rebase, one of the popular names of NFT applications, fell into such a situation seems to have negatively affected NFT platforms and NFT lovers.
