Where did this cloud suddenly come from?

According to the shared information, the cloud in question had an incredible thickness of 7 kilometers. In other words, the distance from the ground end of the cloud to the other end facing the atmosphere was 7 kilometers. Such a dense mass easily managed to block out the light from the Sun.

Although there is no explanation yet about the type of cloud in question, the general opinion is that the cloud is a ‘Cumulonimbus’ type cloud. This type of cloud is known for reaching enormous thicknesses and can cause short-term precipitation.

‘Cumulonimbus’ clouds can reach kilometers thick, and their peaks can be located at very high altitudes, such as 21 kilometers from the earth. Clouds usually require moisture, an unstable mass of air, and a buoyant force.

As the cloud thickness increases, the amount of transmittance decreases, sunlight cannot pass through. Especially in clouds with a thickness of 1 kilometer and above, the permeability rate is extremely low.
