Sony’s acquired patent will focus on rendering procedures for device games, such as setting a correction value to execute the action with high precision. This technology is expected to make mobile controls work much more smoothly than before. In addition to the dynamic game, the patent also aims to solve the game state storage more conveniently.
As a result, with this patent, Sony is looking for ways to make gaming on mobile devices more fluid. Also, this technology could be useful for Sony’s handheld console, codenamed Q Lite, which will reportedly require a PS5 to operate and play remotely. The company previously received a revolutionary patent for DualSense, the controller of PlayStation 5. So much so that the controller aims to transfer the heat of the environment we are in the game to the player via DualSense. According to the patent, the plastic used in the current PS5 DualSense controllers will be replaced by a deformable elastic sensor or gel-like material.
