South Korea-based technology giant Samsung is preparing to announce its new flagship Galaxy Tab S9 series. In this context, we recently talked about the possible features of the Galaxy Tab S9 and Tab S9 Ultra. Looking at the shared Geekbench listing, we see that the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and S9 Lite models have the model numbers ‘SM-X516B’ and ‘SM-X616B’ respectively. However, both tablets, supported by the Exynos 1380 platform, host the Android 13 operating system. It should also be noted that the Galaxy Tab S9 FE is supported with 8GB of RAM, while the S9 Lite model is supported with 6GB of RAM.
Coming to the scores, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE scores 980 and 2344 points in Geekbench’s single and multi-core tests, respectively. The Tab S9 Lite, which is supported by a lower memory capacity, has interestingly 991 and 2410 points. However, the fact that both devices are still in the early production phase may explain the performance difference.It should also be noted that the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and S9 Lite models have not yet been confirmed. As a matter of fact, last year’s Galaxy Tab S8 series consisted of only the basic and Ultra model. However, we encountered a FE model in the Tab S7 series and a Lite version in the Tab S6 series. Therefore, we can say that we have to wait for a while to confirm the leaks.
