Instagram and Facebook announced that they will end NFT support on April 11, 2023, and digital wallets will be deleted.
The NFT frenzy, which marked a period, took a big hit over the years. It was observed that the interest and money inflow on the NFT side decreased considerably, especially in the days when the crypto money market was in decline.
However, Instagram and Facebook became a lifeline by adding NFT support to their platforms. On these platforms, a system containing digital elements was formed and the way for the use of NFT was opened. Finally, Instagram and Facebook announced that they will no longer support NFT on platforms.

Popular social media platforms Instagram and Facebook will end their NFT support on April 11th.
According to the announcement, digital items on Instagram will no longer be processed and users will not be able to create new posts. In addition, users will not be able to access old digital posts on the platform.
Additionally, Facebook and Instagram will delete the data of wallet addresses and other digital items from their platforms. With this move, users will not be able to integrate their accounts into third-party wallets.
Platform statements included statements that no new digital collection posts can be created anymore, blockchain traces of previous digital collection posts will be deleted and these collections will be moved to the archive.
