Microsoft will be bringing some major feature updates to the Edge web browser shortly. Microsoft has already added the new AI-powered Bing Image Creator to the Edge sidebar. Microsoft announced in its blog post that it will soon add the ability to both save and edit web images from within the browser to Edge. Thus, there will be no need for a number of third-party editing applications. With this feature, it will be possible to edit any web image by right-clicking in the browser on PC or MacOS. Crop, light, color and filters can be added from this menu.
Another new feature coming to Edge is called Drop. Edge is included in the sidebar and gives Edge the ability to share photos, notes, and other files from one device to another. In addition, some improvements are made in Edge’s productivity mode. For example, if your laptop was running out of battery, Edge would automatically enter productivity mode to reduce battery usage. Now two new modes are added: Balanced Savings and Maximum Savings. All these features are expected to come in the upcoming Edge versions.
