Introduced last year, the Galaxy S21 FE did not fully meet the expectations with its $ 700 price tag. Because the prices of the Galaxy S22, which was offered to users in the same period, were at the level of 800 dollars. This prepared the environment for the attention to shift to the Galaxy S22 family at some point, due to both the Snapdragon chip and its more up-to-date hardware.
However, this will not happen with the upcoming Galaxy S23 FE model. Because the price tag of the smartphone will be $100 cheaper than its predecessor, the S21 FE, introduced in 2022, that is, it will be around $600. In short, the device will be an affordable alternative to the Samsung Galaxy S23, which has a starting price of $ 800, with its up-to-date hardware. The launch date of the device is not yet known. However, according to the allegations, it will debut in the fourth quarter of this year.
Apart from that, it is stated that the smartphone will come with the Exynos processor, which is the company’s own production, unlike Qualcomm. As it is known, Samsung has recently preferred Qualcomm rather than Exynos in its mid-upper segment and flagships. However, this situation seems to change somewhat with the Galaxy S23 FE. Because it is claimed that the smartphone will be powered by the modified Exynos 2200 processor.
