The FIFA series, which constitutes the most popular games in the football world, will now start to leave its place to EA Sports FC. While many people are eagerly waiting for the new game we will see in 2024, FIFA is trying to make its voice heard in the game world.
Farewell to the giant game company like EA, FIFA chose the mobile world for the first football game after the separation. However, the game was published with a completely different understanding of art and style. Released on March 28, the game is titled ‘AI League: FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Edition’.

AI League: FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 was announced in November 2022. But no one could understand why the game was named after the Qatar World Cup. After all, the World Cup was behind us, and the game had nothing to do with the World Cup.
Developed by Altered State Machine studio, the game hosts 4-on-4 matches. But we do not manage the players in these matches. Players are managed by artificial intelligence and we watch them for most of the game.
What we do in the game is kind of coaching the players. In the game, we adjust the playing styles of the players and create strategies by carefully choosing their superpowers.
AI League: FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is only released for Android yet. No date has been given for the iOS release.
So when will a new series come to replace the FIFA series?
It was announced after the separation from EA that FIFA would create its own FIFA game series. In fact, FIFA President Gianni Infantino made the following statement when EA Sports FC was introduced:
“I can assure you that the only authentic and genuine game to bear the FIFA name will be the best available for players and football fans. The name FIFA is the only global, original title. FIFA 23, FIFA 24, FIFA 25 and FIFA 26 etc. The constant is the name FIFA and it will forever remain the best.”
The studio that developed the new FIFA series has not yet been determined. However, FIFA stated in another statement last year that it was communicating with leading game publishers. It was also stated that the game is planned to be released in 2024.
