The smartphone will be unveiled soon and many details about it are already known thanks to the leaks. The model has recently appeared in the TENAA database. The upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra has surfaced in the TENAA database with the model number 2304FPN6DC. This latest development has largely removed the question mark about the release date of the device. According to the latest reports, a Xiaomi event will be held in China in April and the new products of the Chinese manufacturer, especially the Xiaomi 13 Ultra model, will be showcased. On the other hand, the global arrival of the phone will be estimated in May.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra will feature a 6.73-inch E6 AMOLED curved-edge display with QHD+ and 120 Hz. Like the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro, the Ultra model is expected to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The highest variant will be in the form of 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
The smartphone is likely to have a 32-megapixel front camera. At the back, there will be a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 1-inch main camera, a Leica-signed quad camera setup with ultra-wide angle, telephoto and periscope zoom sensors. It will also run the Android 13-based MIUI 14 interface right out of the box.
It is stated that the 13 Ultra will come with the 1-inch main sensor, as well as the gimbal stabilization of the device. It is highly likely that all four sensors on the smartphone will come with technologies such as PDAF (phase detection automatic autofocus) and dToF.
