Cryptocurrency exchange BitMEX has announced that all trading on the platform has been suspended.
In his post on the BitMEX official announcement page, he stated that all funds are safe and apologized for the inconvenience caused by the suspension of trading operations. According to the statement made by BitMEX, all trading transactions were suspended from 16.58 to 17.18 (CET). The platform announced that as of 17.18, the processes have been restarted and they are trying to find the source of the problem.

Authorities have not yet made a statement about the reason for the outage. However, according to the official announcement, the problem has disappeared for now and the trading process continues. BitMEX is a popular platform that allows traders to trade Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies with leverage.
Arthur Hayes, the former CEO and co-founder of the project, recently came up with an idea for the rapidly increasing stablecoin problems. Hayes presented a proposal for a new stablecoin pegged at $1 USD and pegged to BTC.
