Squid Game, which became a phenomenon series after it was broadcast on Netflix, found a wide place around the world, and after the audience quickly consumed the mini-series, the demands for the 2nd season began to rise. While the debates on whether there will be a second season or not, we think that Netflix cannot “hold” much in the face of this demand.
Squid Game, Netflix’s most-watched show, is apparently very close to season 2. New news for season 2 came from drama creator Hwang Dong-hyuk. Evaluating the possibility of the second season once again, Dong-hyuk stated that this issue will be discussed with Netflix’s senior executives again.
But Hwang Dong-hyuk has other plans. Dong-hyuk told The Guardian that he was considering working on a movie before the second season of the drama. “I’m not going to work on it. I’m going to have a movie project first. I really want to do that. But I’m thinking about which one to do first. I’ll talk about that with Netflix as well.”
Looks like we’ll have to watch the 2nd season of Squid Game. But when will that be; Time will show us.
