In a post on the Binance blog, Binance announced that the NFT Marketplace is supporting the Polygon network.

“We are excited to announce that we have added Polygon to the list of supported chains, further expanding the NFT ecosystem for the Polygon community,” Binance said. The integration of the Polygon network will further elevate the Binance NFT market, now allowing users to transact on BNB Smart Chain (BSC), Ethereum (ETH), and Polygon (MATIC).

New NFT Collections Will Also Be Integrated

With this development, users will now be able to deposit, withdraw and list their NFTs, while purchasing NFTs with the Polygon network through the Binance NFT Marketplace. However, users will also be able to trade NFT on Binance NFT Marketplace by holding MATIC or any token in their spot wallet.

Currently, only selected ERC-721 NFT collections from the Polygon network are available on the Binance NFT Marketplace. Binance NFT will regularly integrate more NFT collections into the system in the future.

In the statement made by Binance, it was also stated that users must have MATIC in their spot wallets in order to withdraw their Polygon NFTs.

Popular NFT collections, Y00ts and DeGods, recently announced plans to leave the Solana network and migrate to the Polygon network.
