Hyundai shared the images of the new Kona model last December. The technical features of the electric version of the new Hyundai Kona, which has completely changed its design and gained new technological features, have also been announced. Electric Hyundai Kona is ambitious with its increased range and power
Hyundai Kona comes with two different power options in its new generation. In both models, electric power units are positioned in the front section, while options with 154 and 214 horsepower are available. In the previous generation, these powers were measured as 136 and 204 horsepower, respectively. The maximum torque produced by both versions in the new generation was announced as 255 Nm.
Hyundai Kona, which has come up with two different options for now, can also say hello to the sporty N version in the coming period. The South Korean manufacturer has not yet denied a Kona N, which offers 430 horsepower and all-wheel drive, with a second electric motor to be added to the rear section.
The new Kona will have two different battery packs, just like the power units. There are two different batteries of 48.4 kWh and 65.4 kWh in two versions, which are separated as Standard and Long Range. With its new batteries, Hyundai Kona has achieved new ranges of 342 and 490 kilometers, according to WLPT data. In the previous generation, the entry version offered a range of 305 kilometers with its 39.2 kWh battery.
